CHAIRMAN
Shafi brings rich experience of 40 years having worked across diverse products, industries across markets as Middle East, Europe, North America and South East Asia. In the last two decades he has been working in the telecommunications and business process outsourcing industry and has been managing Asia Telecom since it’s inception in 1997.
As an entrepreneur he has built several businesses during his stint in Dubai, London, New York and Hong Kong respectively. At Asia Telecom he has been driving force behind the company’s growth and is leading the company’s diversified business interests. He is currently based in Hong Kong.
CEO
Jas is the current CEO and President of Asiatel overseeing day to day management, strategic planning, P&L Management and business expansion. He brings over 25 years of diverse experience in business development and senior management roles, including product launches, as well as new projects while working for multinational companies such as Aditya Birla Group, Fullerton India / Fullerton Enterprises (indirect subsidiary of Temasek, Singapore), IL&FS group and National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL), India’s leading depository.
Jas was the founding member of the BPO diversification initiative of the Asiatel group and has been an instrumental growth driver in taking the business from 0 employees to over 500 employees.
Jas has also been involved in group’s other special projects like remittances and scaling up of wholesale telecom trading desk in Philippines.
